Parent Resources
We are developing a ministry to parents. This will be a place where parents and grandparents can find help and encouragement as they are working hard to raise these precious kids.
Parents are poised to have the greatest impact on their children’s well-being and the future of any other human. That’s why our organization wholeheartedly believes in providing strong support and encouragement to the parents of the students we serve.
- Parent participation: We encourage parents to participate in our clubs and special events. This involvement helps build community and strengthens the bond between parents, students, educators, and our team.
- Parent Workshops: We conduct workshops and seminars for parents on various topics related to child development, learning strategies, and effective parenting techniques. These workshops equip parents with the knowledge and skills to better support their child's growth.
- Addressing Concerns: We are receptive to feedback and concerns from parents. We take their input seriously and work collaboratively to address any challenges or issues that may arise.
- Emotional Support: We acknowledge that parenting can be challenging at times and offer emotional support to parents when needed. We provide a nurturing and empathetic environment where parents feel comfortable seeking guidance and sharing their experiences.

- Staff appreciation gatherings
- Staff prayer meetings
- Encouraging notes in mailboxes
*We are currently limited in the number of schools we can serve in this way. As we get more volunteers and resources, this ministry will grow.
Summer Activities
Students develop friendships and support systems in our clubs during the year. It can be difficult to lose these contacts over the summer. That is why we provide opportunities for the students, volunteers, and their families to get together.
Things like:
- Summer game club
- Other summer camps
- Movie nights
- Campfires
We will let you know what our supporting Churches are planning. We will also inform you of other community resources.
